Case Study - Eco-friendly transport strategy

The Case Study was developed in course of the PROMINENT project, which aims at addressing the key needs for technological development, innovation and greening in the European Inland Waterway Transport (IWT) sector. Within PROMINENT one of the educational aims is to develop a web-based Community of Practice (CoP) with learning modules including different learning materials such as case studies.

The task of the following case study is to develop a sustainable transport strategy for a specific company and product on a defined transport route in Europe. Students have to get familiar with the different transport modes in Europe and have to elaborate a sustainable transport strategy.
